What we’re all about
Fave Five From Fans is a weekly Podcast where I invite a friend with whom I share a common interest in some Pop Culture topic, i.e. Horror Movies, Literature, Toys, etc., and we each make a list of our Favorite Five things from that common genre. Please note the distinction between “Favorite” and “Best” or “Top”, as I want my guests to feel free to make their choices based on whatever criteria THEY see fit. Sure, it can be rated on scripts, story, cinematography, but also know that if it holds a special place because of a personal reason, it could be thrown in there. That’s what makes it a Favorite.
We don’t share our lists until we sit down in the Plastic Microphone Studio (or across the Internet) and lay them out for you, starting off with Honorable Mentions, those selections that didn’t quite make the Fave Five, for good reason OR bad, and then we’ll take turns unveiling our choices backward from 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. During the show, you’ll hear personal stories, behind-the-scenes info, trivia, and probably some bad puns. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy listening as much as we love recording it.
We try to post episodes every Friday, so be sure to Subscribe and check back as we explore everything from Star Trek to Summer Camp, Musical Numbers to Mob Movies, Edgar Allen Poe to Stephen King, and almost everywhere in between. We’re going to have a lot of fun, and we want you right there with us. And as we like to say, “It may not be the best, it may not be most popular, but if it’s your favorite, then it’s good enough for us!”

Who am I? I’m a dad, husband, son, and brother, among other things. I’m into Star Trek, ROM the Spaceknight, Zombies, comics, the Horror Genre in general, and cheese, though not necessarily in that order…
This show is a product of many, many hours of windshield time going to and from Trek Conventions and having “What’s Your Favorite?” conversations, mostly with my buds Chuck & Kevin. This is the natural extension of those talks.
